Norway is one of the world’s leading shipping nations. Norwegian shipping companies and transporters have been early adopters of new technology and new ways of thinking to overcome the challenges facing the industry. This means that the shipping and transport industry in Norway is well positioned for the future.

We have extensive experience in assisting various industry players, from ship owners within offshore and conventional shipping, to charterers and operators, managers and shipyards. We have in-depth knowledge of the various types of contracts used, including time and voyage charters, bills of lading, management agreements, rig contracts, FPSO contracts, shipbuilding contracts and logistics agreements. In recent years, we have been involved in an increasing number of contracts and projects within renewable energy.

We regularly assist with the purchase, sale and leaseback of ships and rigs, and have been engaged on several different shipping projects involving construction and/or long charter contracts. We also have our own dispute resolution experts who handle wide-ranging processes before the courts, as well as arbitration proceedings both in Norway and abroad.

Transport encompasses more than shipping, and we also have extensive experience in assisting within road, rail and freight forwarding.
