Håkon Sandbekk

Hakon Sandbekk specializes in renewable energy, green technologies and power markets. Over the past decade, Håkon has gained extensive industrial experience in all aspects of renewable projects such as wind, hydro, solar and district heating, both in Norway and internationally. He has headed legal negotiations on the development, construction and financing of several offshore wind farms in the North Sea, as well as Europe's largest onshore wind farm at Fosen in Central Norway. Håkon advises on all stages of such projects, from planning, development, construction and financing to operations, M&A and transactions. He also has considerable experience in the preparation and negotiation of supplier contracts and various forms of strategic cooperations and joint ventures, as well as project financing. Hakon also advises on matters relating to electricity and green certificate markets, bilateral power contracts, subsidies and carbon pricing. In addition, Hakon has expertise on regulatory issues, including license applications, grid connection and environmental law. Hakon is a member of the The Norwegian Law Society's committee for energy and environmental law. He has been ranked by the Legal Power List as being among top 5 of the 100 most influential lawyers in the global wind sector.
